Why is there So Much SPAM in Your Inbox
Remember when the President of the United States of America foretold us of his efforts and initiatives to curb SPAM in our inbox? Do you remember when the Congress and Senate passed the CAN SPAM Act and the Bush Administration signed it into law?
Well what on Earth happened? Well, simply speaking SPAM increased some 3000% since the FTC or Federal Trade Commission announced the War on SPAM, yet as we know all those press releases were nothing more than a sham.
It seems that the FTC cannot stop SPAM and is impotent to taking out the Viagra emails. Much of the SPAM is coming from other nations like Russia and China and the FTC cannot or will not stop them. If they cannot stop SPAM, how can we trust the FTC on anything from Identity Theft to consumer protection?
The fact is we can’t as they are incompetent and they are misrepresenting the truth and must be disgorged from their ill-gotten citizen taxpayer’s monies on their next year’s budget. Total incompetence should not be allowed in our government. Just look what these Russian Spammers are charging these days;
“From 1.000 up to 30.000 messages - $2.3 for one thousand; From 31.000 up to 100.000 messages - $2 for one thousand; From 100.000 up to 200.000 messages - $1,7 for one thousand; From 200.000 and more - $1 for one thousand; At the big orders essential discounts and bonuses:-)”
How can the FTC stop them if the prices are so low and SPAM is working on a percentage basis? We must get the FTC off their butts to curb SPAM and to do their job. This half-butt effort is a little unnerving and this is unacceptable. We must fire all FTC employees, take away their pensions and hire a new staff there immediately. Consider all this in 2006.
